It's 9:04 p.m.

You already know how tonight ends.

The book is open to the same page it was open to twenty minutes ago. Your child is guessing at words from the pictures. You hear yourself say “sound it out” one more time, gentler than you feel, because you can see the shame creeping across their face.

Then comes the sentence that breaks you: “I'm just not smart.”

You've read the teacher's note. You've bought the app, the flash cards, the leveled readers gathering dust on the shelf. You are not lazy and your child is not broken. You have simply never been handed the actual method — and the clock is real. A child who is behind in reading by third grade rarely catches up on their own.

The goal was never a higher score. It was your child reaching for the book instead of hiding from it.

The turning point

Reading is not a talent. It is a sequence.

Children do not fail at reading because they lack ability. They stall because a single link in the sequence — a sound, a pattern, a blend — was never fully taught. Our certified educators find that exact link and rebuild from there, step by step, in the order the brain actually learns to read.

No guessing from pictures. No tears at the kitchen table. Just a child who begins to trust their own voice on the page.

Every child deserves the quiet triumph of finishing a book on their own.

What's included

Everything your child needs, and nothing you have to figure out.

Live instruction

Twice-weekly sessions with a certified educator, structured around the Science of Reading — not worksheets, not a game app.

Pods of five, never more

Small enough that your child is heard every single session, and cannot slip quietly to the back of the room.

Comprehensive reading assessment

We start by finding the exact missing link — letter sounds, blends, fluency, or comprehension — before a single lesson is taught.

Custom lesson plans

A phonics track or a comprehension track, chosen for your child and adjusted as they grow.

Weekly notes from your child's educator

Plain-English updates in your parent portal. You always know what happened and what to do at home.

Parent portal and digital library

Leveled digital library access, session calendar, progress tracking, and everything in one place.

Progress check-ins

Real conversations about growth at key milestones — with measurable results in hand.

Certificate of completion

Because finishing something hard deserves to be marked and remembered.

Parents

The moment it clicks is unmistakable.

Within four weeks, he was reading aloud at the dinner table — unprompted. I cried.

Her teacher asked what we changed. That was the moment I knew this was worth every dollar.

The twelve weeks

What changes, and when.

  1. Week 1

    We find the missing link

A full assessment pinpoints exactly where reading broke down — and your child meets an educator who believes they can do this.

  2. Week 4

    The resistance softens

Decoding starts to feel automatic. This is usually the week parents email us about something their child did without being asked.

  3. Week 12

They read because they want to

Measurable growth on paper, and a child who picks up a book on their own. That is the outcome we are actually selling.

Before you enroll

The questions parents ask us most.

Showing FAQ for Reading Intensive (12 Weeks).

Is the summer price really $1,200?

Yes. Tuition is normally $1,500. Enroll on or before August 31, 2026 and your rate is $1,200 for the full 12 weeks, with no payment surprises later.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. The 12-Week Intensive can be split into 3 payments of $500.

Which grades is this for?

Kindergarten through 5th grade. Every child begins with a comprehensive assessment, so a struggling 4th grader and an emerging kindergartener each get instruction at their true level.

How much time does it take each week?

Two live sessions per week plus roughly ten minutes of at-home practice. We designed it to fit a real family's evening, not to add another burden to it.

What if my child resists?

Most do at first — resistance is what shame looks like in a child. Pods of five, warm certified educators, and early wins are how that resistance breaks, usually within the first three weeks.

What do we need technically?

A laptop or tablet with a camera and a stable internet connection. Everything else — the digital library, lesson materials, the parent portal — is included.

What if it isn't the right fit?

If the first two weeks are not right for your child, tell us and we will make it right — either by moving your child to a better-matched pod or by refunding the unused balance of the program. Deposits for filled pods are transferable to a later cohort.

Every child deserves the quiet triumph of finishing a book on their own.

Twelve weeks from now, this fall could start differently — for your child, and for your evenings.
